AI-powered Document Management for the Supply Chain

From grown structures to a scalable warehouse platform.

Starting situation

Enormous amounts of data are generated daily in the supply chain of an internationally operating trading company. Much of this information was additionally exported into spreadsheets and documents for business processes, manually checked, and further processed.

However, as the data volume grew, so did the effort, susceptibility to errors, and process duration. Therefore, a solution was sought that would automate recurring document processes, relieve employees, and be quickly implementable at the same time.

Challenges

Process large volumes of documents efficiently

Numerous exported data sets and tables had to be managed daily.

Reduce manual process steps

Recurring testing and administrative tasks caused a high workload.

Minimize susceptibility to errors

Manual processing led to inconsistencies and potential sources of error.

Meet short development timelines

The solution should be deployable in a short period of time.

Create user-friendly processes

Automation had to be easy to use and simple to integrate.

Integrate AI into existing processes

The solution had to work reliably with existing Office and Windows processes.
